Super Bowl Prediction (Post Season Record 4-6)

There are three teams in the NFL that Mr Main Event does not like and two are playing in this years big game. The New England Patriots will play as host to the New York Giants.

The last time these teams played in the Super Bowl it was Eli Manning leading his Giants in a miraculous fashion to defeat Tom Brady and the Patriots. During the 2007 the Patriots were on the brink of history. They went into the game with a 18-0 record and were looking to be the first team to have a perfect season since the only team the Miami Dolphins did it in 1972. But Manning had other plans as he hooked up with Plaxico Burress for the game winning touchdown.

This year the Patriots have been playing well on offense while the defense has struggled. On the other hand the Giants have played well on both sides of the ball.

So who wins this game? The Giants have seemed virtually unbeatable in the last few weeks of the season with the exception of the NFC Championship game where they went to overtime. The Patriots have found many ways to win games including games in which they were down by 21 points. In order for the Giants to be successful they will need to not only pressure Brady but they will also need to protect Manning. In order for the Patriots to win they will need to do what they do best score points. So again who wins this game? With Tom Brady staring at a fourth ring and also looking to seek revenge against Manning, Brady wins this game in a close fashion
